OK, so i am considering skipping secondary for the first time on a hoppy pale, should come in around 5.3% and 55IBUS. I have always done secondaries for over ten years, but considering skipping it.

I bottle, not keg, so trying to figure out best timeline for this. For stuff like this I usually get about a week in primary and then dry hop for a week. With a 7-10 days carbing in bottles i try to keep the fermentation time as short as possible, and drink it all within the month.

If i just primary, how long after i've hit final gravity? And should i still dry hop 7days or so?

Let it stay in primary for at least 2 weeks, toss your hops in and give it 4-7 more days, cold crash and rack into a bottling bucket! I stopped using secondary a year ago and only look back when using fruit or other additions. I've found leaving it on the yeast cake longer cleans up any off flavors much better! However, a week in bottle doesn't seem long enough. I usually wait at least 2 weeks after bottling.

lol good luck, still doing the secondary thing myself. Gonna force myself to try it just primary too here soon.
