My Brewers Best Imperial Pale has been in plastic 6.5 gal primary fermentation bucket for 3 weeks. Today I added a couple ounces of Chinook to the beer, still in the primary bucket. I am planning on bottling 6 days from now but want to make sure my next series of events are ok.
Today added hops for dry hopping
In 4 days move bucket to garage for "cold crash" (temp in garage +/- 40F)
2 days later bring bucket inside for bottling day
Does this sound logical?
If I cold crash this, is it ok to have cold beer for bottling day, or do I need to get it back to room temp before adding priming sugar & bottling?
Thanks,
Jay
