Just wanted to test/clear the air about mulberries. This one came out quite well. Looks amber in the pics but has a faint purple to it. Only a hint of fruit, perfect for me. The berries added a little bitterness to it; thought the OG tasted VERY bitter, but settled down after bottling. Hope I formatted the recipe ok for you guys.
Steeped .5# Flaked Wheat @ 140 degrees for 30 min.
60 Added 44 oz Extra Light DME and 1.5 oz Vangard
40 Added 22 oz Wheat DME
20 Added 22 oz Wheat DME
15 Added .5 oz Vangard
10 Added 1 tsp Irish Moss
Pitched yeast @ 78 Degree
Prime 9 days, FG 1.013
Racked to secondary on 2# Mulberries (pre sanitized and frozen/thawed)
Secondary for 7 days
Racked to thirduary
Thirduary for 14 days
Added 4.5 oz corn sugar and bottled
