my porter.
for being pretty dark dark brown/black in the glass, it looks pretty good up to a light.
it's only been in bottles for 10 days, and the head isn't very developed yet, but i wanted to taste my new recipe. the lacing is pretty nice, just doesn't stay long.
all in, all, i'm pretty proud of this one.
I stayed in Grand Island last November when I was doing some work at the ethanol plant in Wood River...I really liked the IPA and Vanilla Porter from Thunderhead Brewing (in The Chicken Coop)!

Do you have a recipe? It's about time to make another batch for myself and that sounds great!
DisturbdChemist said:It's basically just like edworts apfelwein just subbed one gal of apple juice with one gal of cranberry juice. Next time i might add more cranberry juice for more cranberry taste but planning on priming this batch with some cranberry before i bottle. It's good and smooth right out of the fermenter once it was clear sure it will age nicely like people say about the apfelwein which its hard to keep. Should bury it like the post above. Bravo man i'll wouldnt have the patience to do
