Right, so how in the world is he getting 30+ gallons to begin with? Doing a bunch of 5 gallon batches? The post just seems weird to me.
 
Yeah, it would seem that he may be doing extract... adjusting with water and reporting final volume? I'm confused as to how much he has brewed with the system due to the "never used" items.
 
I saw this last week. The only way I can see he would be getting 30 gallons is to do 6 5 gallon batches.
 
His post says "plans changed" and the stuff has never been used. So he might have started buying stuff and went broke or something and never got all the equipment.
 
Maybe you measure out 5 gallons of extract with some hops, heat it up in the turkey fryer, and then pour it into the 35 gallon fermenter and top off?

I got nothing.
