To start it all off, I dumped a Gallon of Boiling water on my bare foor last Saturday. Hence, I have been out of work this week with 2nd degree burns on my left foot. I'll be out next week as well.
Now, to today. Transferred my Scottish Wee Heavy from rimary to secondary. I store all my Glass Carboys with a Bleach/Water Solution. When I want to use the carboy, I simply dump the Bleachy water, Rinse with 2 gallons water, dump, rinse with 1 gsllon, dump, then rinse one more time with 1 gallon for good measure. Only this time, I dumped the bleachy Solution, then raced out the door to go out to the Local Hardware store for an Item that I needed. Got home, then proceeded to add Star San to carboy, dumped solution, then racked.
I never rinsed. I do believe I might have some mediciny tasting wee heavy there...
