I am going to be brewing an American Wheat for swmbo and wanted to add some fruit. I do not want to deal with pounds of fresh or frozen fruit and I certainly don't want to use extracts.

My question is, has anyone tried using POM juice in their brew with any success? I was planning on adding 16oz of the pomegranate/mango POM juice to primary after fermentation is complete. This is going to be a 2.5 gallon batch.

Any ideas on whether this would work? Any suggestions?

Is POM juice preservative free? I think one of the big draws to using real fruit instead of commercial juice, is that there are no preservatives or chemicals that could inhibit yeast activity.
