Yo,

I ran out of all sanitizers and have brew ingredients ready to boil some wort.

If I order StarSan, it will get here in about a week. I'm not waiting.

If I boil a good amount of water, and FUNNEL it into my carboy, shake it around, will that be alright?

Or will it crack.

Thanks,
Brady

"will it get here" depends on "where you order from".

don't put boiling water in your carboy. not safe at all.

you could boil and cool some water, sanitize with a bleach solution, and then rinse it clean with the boiled-n-cooled water.

you can also use iodine solution that you can buy in drugstore over the counter for disinfecting wounds and dilute it about 10ml to 3 US gallons - left for 20 mins it will sanitize carboy
