Fruit puree vs concentrate

I'm going to make a belgian wit and I would like to add passion fruit to it but it's been difficult to find an affordably priced puree. I am wondering if a concentrate can be used instead of a puree?
 
I prefer puree, but its not always available. I would use concentrate before I would use extract. So go for it. Extract is ok too, but sometimes its very artificial tasting, like a Jolly Rancher.
