3 gallons of Belgian Dark Strong in a 5 gallon fermentor. Blowing off like crazy! Anyone else experience this kind of fermentation with this yeast?

old thread i know, but i was searching around and came upon this.
it actually managed to blow the lid off my bucket and the airlock doesnt stand a chance here, lol.
i guess now im gonna have to look into doing a blowoff tube setup when i use this yeast again.

I pitched last night. Came home from work today with a river of yeast on my table. My starting gravity was only 1.050. Same wort with WLP500 is behaving nicely.
