Does anyone know if you can blend two beers together at different stages of fermenting and aging to produce maybe mellow tastes or maybe ,,I don't know ,just a thought.
Look up 'krausening.' Traditional German technique. Guinness even blends in a bit of soured beer with fresh beer to get a distinctive taste, though that's a bit more unusual. And some british breweries blend in a bit of their finest cask-aged ale with the more regular fare to add a bit of complexity.
