    Redhook (Blonde|Pilsner)

Is it just me or did Redhook just take their Blonde ale and start calling it a Pilsner? Just got another sampler pack which I get on occassion and its always had the Longhammer IPA, Copper, ESB, and Blonde. The new one has a Pilsner instead of Blonde but it doesn't taste much like a Pilsner...

Best Uses of Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Ale strain

I bought a pack of 1187 a little while back thinking I would try it in the next batch of my brown ale. Wondering what other styles people are using this strain in with good results.

    Grain storage in PBW can?

Now I'm wondering, if you pitch the proper amount of yeast in the first place at what gravity does it become not such a good idea to harvest the yeast from a batch? I would think that if the proper amount...

    Been lurking for awhile...

and finally decided to register. I've been brewing for a few years but reading through these forums has become an addiction for me over the past few months, especially as I made the jump to all-grain and kegging back in August. Now on to yeast starters... This place is really an invaluable...
