Has anyone ever heard of a garbage bag that doesn't leak or leach chemicals? I have an idea for a conical fermenter made out of a garbage can and spray foam, but I need a liner that would be in contact with the beer.

If I could only BREW from three styles, 8, 10, & 13. But I would have to purchase others off the list.

In my experience a week is too long to leave beer in a growler. I have been told two, three days max until you have to open and drink, but they never seem to last that long around me.

Check out Brewhaus if you are looking for a bar in Springfield. To my knowledge, I was born and raised there, there are currently no brewpubs. There may be soon, but not yet. Brewhaus has a load of taps, and a great whiskey selection.

I think Oakshire Brewery's O'Dark 30 is a very good CDIPA. Don't know how far out of Oregon you can get it though.

My .02, make a starter in advance and see what happens. If there is no signs of activity, don't pitch it.
