    uKeg growler

I've been looking for a long time for a portable kegging setup so I backed this project for the 128oz version. I had been eyeing the tap a draft or party pig but they seemed to have too many problems based on others reports. This seems like it will be ideal for taking about a dozen beers...

    Natural Priming in a Keg

I've only keg conditioned one keg so far (doing another one tonight though), but I found that the force carbed beers are crystal clear where as the conditioned one was always a bit cloudy. Of course it was worst on the first and last pints. Not a huge deal but that was my one experience.

Are these cheap perlick faucets the right kind?

I use the chrome Perlicks. They look and work awesome.

Is my beer line too short?

I have a keg connection setup also. I have 5ft lines, I set my reg to 12 PSI @38 degrees and let the beer carb over 3 weeks. It pours absolutely perfect every single time. Perfect head, perfect carbonation. I have a two tap tower in a mini fridge so there is barely any lift on the taps...

    Kegging question

They are advising you to bleed pressure in your keg so you are not pushing beer into your regulator. If you have a keg that's at 16psi, and you set your regulator to 10psi and hook it up, the higher pressure in the keg could push beer back into your regulator, damaging it. Bleeding the keg...

    Twist off bottles

If you have a bench capper you can put normal caps on those twist off bottles. I have bottled over 1000 beers in them and have only had 2 that didn't carbonate, and only because those bottles were damaged on the rim.

CO2 Leaks/Where the is keg connection?!?

One thing you may have missed is on the CO2 tank you either need to have the valve fully closed or fully open. If you have it open only half way it can be a source of a leak.

Just pulled the trigger... Did I do ok?

My order in early August came super fast, but my order in late August took a while to be shipped (5 or 6 business days + transit time). But they do have amazing prices and great quality stuff. Maybe they've caught up on orders by now and yours will be shipped quick.

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

Cable clamp, used for installing electrical cable through breaker boxes, would be the proper way to do it:

    Diy co2

Not sure why you would want to do this. It's $21 for me to fill my 5lb co2 tank, which in reading on here is actually pretty relatively expensive, but even so it works out to $2 per keg of beer. How much is your time worth? That's the question you should be asking.

cleaning beer tap/faucet without cleaning kit?

You need to visit a homebrew store for a sanitizer. The only one you'll find at a grocery store is household bleach, but I wouldn't recommend using that as it is not no-rinse. If you can find it, StarSan is your best bet. Some people use kegs and co2 to push clenaer and sanitizer through...

    Sanyo BC 1206 Odd Noise?

    Seems normal to me.

    Kegging PSI Drop

It's not normal, no, but I can't see it causing a leak when the quick disconnect is attached.

Transferring Carbed Beer from keg to keg

    Thanks for the clarification!

Want to keg? Do it NOW!!!

Bottling isn't that bad! At least it's not when my wife would help me do it. With a bottle tree, bottle washer (vinator), autosiphon and bench capper we can bottle 65 beers in no time. I bottled over 900 bottles in the last year! But I did put my first ever keg in my kegerator today and I...

Transferring Carbed Beer from keg to keg

I read this on here and if I ever have to transfer this is what I plan to do. Never done it yet though. First purge and bleed the receiving keg. Then pressurize the sending keg and elevate it. Then hook up the outputs of the kegs together. Beer will start to transfer until the pressure...

    Used Corny Supply Running Out!

Mine charges $60. They are not really reconditioned though. But he just got in a shipment of 100 of them, so I'd say they are not quite yet running out. Unless those are the last 100 in all of North America.

    Goose Island Bottles

Here in Canada I use the twist off bottles. They are awesome with the bench capper.

Should I condition warm to speed it up?

People's first impression of your homebrew will be that of a yeasty, flat, green tasting beer. Probably not the best way to make a first impression. I would not serve it and just advise that it's not ready yet. It's not only bad for your reputation, it's bad for homebrewing in general. I...

    C02 inline pressure reduction

I think that may increase the time it took the second keg to get up to pressure, but it would eventually end up at the same pressure just the same.
