    Hey guys, today I brewed my pumpkin ale, its calls for 6.0 LME and 1lb DME, and steeping around 2lbs grains. I actually got about 6.3 or 6.4 LME and completely forgot my 1lb DME!!! How bad will this hurt me?

    Avocado and mango?

    So me and my buddy were talking about doing some experimental brewing, and avocado and mango got brought up. Anybody had any experience with either of these? I know the oils will be an issue, can we get around that? I'm thinking about using a blonde ale or mild ipa to get started. Any thoughts?

    Lost water

    I brewed an extract IPA 2 weeks ago, started with 5 gallons of water, and used 7oz of pellet hops. I transfered it to my carboy where I am dry hopping with 2oz of leaf hops, but I only yielded 4 gallons??? I did not add water to top off to five gallons, what ways will this effect my beer?

    First Drink

    So after 5 days of being in the bottle I could not wait anymore, I chilled down my ipa and had one, Actually poured great with good carbonation and head retention. Taste was great!     Airlock!???

    First Brew!

    Hey guys, I am making my very first brew, I have a question, I used iodophor to sanitize before I started. Does this air dry or should I rinse it out with some boiled water or will a little left in the fermenter hurt anything? I am sure this has been asked but I cannot find the exact answer...
