Doubling Down: SS Brewtech Conical + FTSS + Glycol Power Pack

Hey, I have been reading this thread for the past year and it has helped me so much in making the purchase of my 14g Unitank and all the needed accessories. Thanks for all the great info that's been posted! I'm sorry if this has been asked further back already. For you folks that have the leg...

    Taras Boulba Clone

I took a stab at this a few years ago. It came out really good, but I wasn't quite there. I used a 50/50 blend of WLP005 & WLP500. My thoughts at the time is that it just needed a little more bitterness and that little lemony thing I get from Taras Boulba. I just enjoyed a pint of the real...

Brau, great recipe, going in my to brew list. I'm brewing up a dry Irish Stout this weekend, and I'm going to use your water profile with a little baking soda to bring the mash PH down to 5.4 Cheers!

Did a 2oz mix at flame out and whirlpool for 20 min, then dropped the temp to 170 and added 1.25oz each and kept it spinning for about another 50 minutes or so while I cleaned up...

Heady Topper- Can you clone it?

Brewed the Farmhouse kit on Saturday, converted it to 6gal, since my eff is at 88%. The day went really smooth. Only ended up with about 4.5 gal into the fermentor, with so much hop and break material at the bottom of my kettle. My boil off seemed more than usual. My OG was 1.076 My water...

Heady Topper- Can you clone it?

I plan on brewing this next weekend can't wait. Just curious, how long are you guys spinning your 0 minute hops before you drop your kettle temps down to 180f for the aroma steep? Thinking 15-20min, then the additional 30min aroma steep? Gonna use Tasty's water profile as a starting point and...
