    Co2 tank regulator

Yes, spun the tank knob all the way and then opened the little valve on the hose on the regulator. Beer pumps through the hose and everything

    Co2 tank regulator

Have a sanke Kegerator and recently set it up. Beer flowed fine through it but on the co2 tank no matter if I turned the nut, the gauge read 0 on psi. Any idea why? Also what do you recommend on pump wise to clean my beer lines?

one co2 tank, two sanke kegs

I have a kegerator, with a 5lb co2 tank and a regulator. It is safely in my room and id rather not move it. When we have parties, id like to use co2 instead of a party tap so if we dont kill the keg we can throw it in the fridge and use it later. I was thinking maybe i could get a splitter from...

    Bottling sugar on weird batch

    BIAB keggle

adding water to fermenter becasue of old grain

I have some old grains milled 4 months ago that I was thinking of adding to my recipe, ontop of the normal ingredients. I have the extra grain so I figure I might as well use it. I was thinking that I would take a hyrdometer reading, and add water to the fermenter based on how much higher the...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

on this the after boil volume is 16.12, and the batch size is 15. do you lose that much during fermentation?

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I am starting 15 gallon batches, but i live far from a LHBS and dont have a mill so I want to buy a 50lb bag and use it all quickly, then sit back and enjoy the beer over a few months. So im planning on doing two batches and putting them in a 55gallon plastic barrel, then using the rest for a...

    BIAB keggle

    BIAB keggle

anyone? what is the largest batch I could brew in a 20 gal pot, assuming dunk sparge

    BIAB keggle

To clarify, I was trying to decide between a keggle and a big pot. Id like to be able To do 15 gallons, I don't want to upgrade now and wish I got a bigger pot later. How would I do a ten gallon boil in a 7.5 gallon pot?

    BIAB keggle

Ok I found a 20 gallon aluminum pot with lid for 105 bucks. I also have a ten gallon cylinder cooler and tons of normal rectangle coolers. Could I get 15 gallon batches with this setup? I would love to get a 25 or 30 gallon pot but I haven't seen any for 100~ bucks which is my budget.

    old grains

I have like 20-25 pounds of grain that was milled and been sitting around for like 4 months. I know its not worth much at all. Would it hurt to add it to my next batch? If i have it might as well use it, I dont want to just throw it away

    BIAB keggle

I have a hoist i was planning on using from a past project so the grain weight isnt a problem. Also, I have a bunch of coolers (too many) I could use for the dunk sparge and have the pot as a backup. If I could find a decently priced one, I could get a 25-30 gallon pot and ferment possibly...

    BIAB keggle

if i upped the grain bill some, could i make a stronger wort then just add water to the fermenters after? IE brew 13 gallons of stronger beer then add a few gallons of water to make a larger batch. also, is using the extra sparge step really worth the extra effort? I did a no sparge BIAB and it...

    BIAB keggle

I am on a super budget equipment wise so i have been doing BIAB in a single pot for the whole process in my 7.5gal pot. I have a keg shell, and was thinking of making a basic keggle, just a whole in the top, for now not even ball valve at the bottom just to prevent boilovers and for larger...

    Bottling sugar on weird batch

I will be using a bucket but I dont think its marked. I will just use the volume of a cylinder formula and find it. How much would 1 gallon be for priming sugar? ill then proportionally increase that once I find the volume. I will be using normal table sugar.

    Bottling sugar on weird batch

I have a cream of three crops recipe that went interesting that i want to bottle now. The problem is I lost my paper with the recipe and og and all that. It's been fermenting in the primary since january 15, moving it to secondary soon to clean it up. The issue is, I dont know how large the...
