The original poster of this thread reminds me a lot of mikedavid00/takesomeadvice @ youtube. Sounds a lot like his postings. Also he says his wife was making him brew then she turned into his fiance. Just my .02 worth.
The Mrs. got me a new large capacity shopvac and slop sink for the garage. Two awsome gifts. Can't wait to install the sink and clean my equipment in the garage. Brewing started in the kitchen, then to garage. I have to say, I prefer the garage.
Every time I go to my wife's family lake house at Lake of the Ozarks, her two brothers who are both college age always shotgun a beer as soon as they get their. Funny tradition. This year they had me participate in the ritual. Shotgunning is not bad, bonging a beer is out of my zone. So yes I'll...
This wasn't a comment, but funny none the less. I have an AHS Bitter in the kegerator and the wife and I had the dads over this past sunday along with a few family friends. One of the guys was drinking bud lite lime and he asked me if he could try the homebrew. I said "Sure, frosted mugs are in...
I bought a UDS kit from Dataz722 for a UDS. I may be sending Data some business here shortly. The neighbors want me to build them a few. I LOVE the UDS. I found a barrel in an industrial area that was refurbished, liner burnt out, and cleaned up. I have made some awsome bbq/smoked meat (country...
So what you guys are saying is do not not return a keg after drinking it. Ok point taken. Now is there anyone on here that is looking to sell one at a reasonable price? And that is close to St. Louis?
I'm from the St. Louis, MO(O'Fallon) area looking to buy an already built keggle or a keg that has alreay been cut. I will not pay more than $50 for a unbuilt keg. Why pay more than a deposite for a keg from AB when I can just buy one and leave my $50 bucks behind.
Do you have any UDS kits left. I am from Missouri and am seeking a drum, then will need a kit or just purchase an already built one. I would rather build my own. Let me know. My e-mail is [email protected]
I also did a Coopers Lager kit as my first brew. It was ok but I got impatient and did not let it age. Also, I fermented at 70+ degrees. I switched to Austin Home Brew Supplies and have done several of their kits. They all have turned out awsome. I now ferment at about 62 degrees and let it sit...
Being in law enfrcement, I occasionally have to close entire roadways. Usually during rush hour on the busiest streets. My car parked perpendicular to the roadway, blocking all lanes of traffic, and several road flares going. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked "Is the road closed?"...
Are you steeping in 2.5 gallons of water or are you doing a full boil? I live in Missouri and have never heard of Shed Mntn. Would love to try the original before making a batch. What other beers could you compare it too?
