    We can delete this as soon as I can figure this out. I read the sticky on this and is says 1c/5 gallons bleach for cleaning. Is this 1 cup?     Preboiling water for sanitation

    I am using spring water and I was wondering if I need to preboil the water that goes into the fermenter, not the water that is in my brewing boil. Will it shock the glass carboy? I am using 2.5 gallons in the fermenter and then 2.5 for my boil.
