I dont understand how a 15gallon HLT was the limiting factor when your MLT is only 10 gallons and it holds the grain. Does not make any sense. 13lbs of grain at the high rate of 2qts/lb is 26 quarts= 6.5 gallons. Why is your HLT limiting you in any way??????:ban:
Why not just cut a large hole in the lid (or bottom if you prefer). That way you don't lose any volume capacity.
You can create a lid easily using the piece you just cut out. Weld four 1" steel solid washers, spaced equally. Done.
I've attached images of his stands for those interested. For $300, the stands do no include casters or burners. They come as pictures in the first picture without the keggles. Just a nicely welded, cleaned up 2" steel brew stand.
Nice!. Well I had 100lbs of berries and I pressed them all because I dont want to deal with pressing them after fermentation.
I now have 6 gallons of pure blueberry juice. How many batches can I make with this?
Hey take you're negativity and go bury it in a hole.
I was only taking a guess. Who knows how old the mill is. It's been there as long as I've been going to bells.
I know I've milled at least 500lbs with it in the last year.
all I know is it works everytime.
aboudle, I would call Bells General Store in kalamazoo and ask to speak to Dave. Tell him what you're looking for and he will point you in a good direction.
