    my wine is gray ?

    I have made multiple batches of banana wine in the past, I put the bananas in a nylon and boiled them, this time I placed the bananas in a blender and boiled the mush. I now have gray wine fermenting. What the hell is this?

    Well i never took a hydrometer reading of my banana wine, never had a hydrometer and i just moved it to the secondary, and took a hydrometer reading, its 1.50? i thought it was supposed to be near 1.00.     just a question.

    I just bougth my camden pellets, corks, a corker, and a hydrometer and the thing you put the hydrometer in. Im not exactly sure how to use a hydrometer, i have an idea, but the brew you lose in your testing tube, do you put that back or just drink it? what do you think about this corker also...

    Need help quick!

    I just woke my yeast up in about a 20 min water bath at abou 94 degreesish it felt kinda cold but i used straight tap water to do this will that kill the yeast and if so can i just throw another packet in?
