    Marris Lager

    Has annyone ever used marris otter in a good lager? I bought a 50# sack and now their is a LHBS 2 minuets from my house and ive been neglecting the M.O. and thought maybe a lager while its still cold out.So if any one has a good Marris Lager recipe it would be greatly appreceated:mug:.

    What the hell is in my boiling kettle?

    kegged sulfurey cider

    I just kegged my cider and it has a sulfury smell .I cold crashed it to keep it on the sweet side .Is there any way to get rid of the smell without bringing the temp up ,as i dont want it to ferment anymore!:confused:

    Old yeast ?

    When is it too late to wash yeast?Ive been yeast washing for a while now but ive also started not using a secondary which means longer in primary to clear up via advice on brewtalk.So my question is when is the yeast too old to wash ?Mine is around 5 weeks in primary?

    I recently bought everything two set up my second keg! EXEPT the co2 line.My exesting line isnt long enough to split in half. My question is can i use comp air line from lowes or does it have to be food grade???Probably a dumb question but u never know.

    yeast washing sanitation ??

    I wanted to try yeast washing and i couldnt find any new mason jars.Most of my old ones were used for pickling and the covers still have that sent.My question is will boiling for 20 minuets remove any bacteria still there even if they still smell or is it too risky not to use new jars?
