    safe to bottle

    help me with my starter

    computer fan question

    pasty yeast

    I took a pack of Nottingham dry yeast out of the fridge about an hour ago in prep for a brew this afternoon and it seems to be some what pasty inside the package, not dry and granular. Should I try to get some more, hydrate in warn water or just pitch on top like usual. Ben

    filtering

    I was thinking of placing a coffee filter that had been sanitized on the end of my racking tube and holding it with a rubber band to help filter out hop flakes from dry hopping. Is this a good idea or will it hold out the suspended yeast and give me carbing problems? Ben

    when to dry hop
