    how long are beer kits good for

    while cleaning my garage i found 5 boxes from northern brewer. All are different styles. Wanted to see if they would be still good after about a year and a half.     How long is too long in a fermentor

    I made some agave witaber and life happened it and a coffee stout have been in fermentor for 6-8 weeks is it still good of throw it out . Or perhaps bottle it and hope. The coffee stout would need to spend time in the secondary with the beans I would guess. What has been you experience? D

    using a nitrogen regulator

    just curious as to if i can use it .we have a tank and a regulator with gauges .I used ir after katrina to dry fibers that were flooded. my boss said to throw it out. i know you can get adapters to go to and from co2 to use this but cant you also use the nitrogen for the beer gas or is something...

    are there any advantage /disadvantage to useing nitrogen

    i only ask because there is a nitrogen bottle with gauges i used a way back to dry some fiber optical equipment at work . asked and the boss said get rid of it. i think i read finer bubbles but am very new to this. Can it be used?

    i cant imagine it getting any better

    i brewed an austin homebrew belgium wit extract. sat in fermenter for about 10 days ,i know i made a lot of mistakes.I bottled and about 1 week i have had to try it ...well 1 lead to another and i will be out before it would reach its peak. WOW

    useing copper for a brew pot

    A friend says he can make me a copper brew pot .any draw backs. mot really sure how he can do it but said he could do it and make it so an electric heat element could be fit. i would assume it will work fine since most microbrew places use it. he owns a sheetmetel shop and does a lot of copper...

    difference between better bottle and a spring water jug

    what is the difference between the two. i have access to the 5 gal spring water jugs that fit on the water cooler. i am going to use them for the water for the boil. just curious.
