    Leaking keg

If the lid hatch is damaged (out of round, not flat), then yes it's the keg. A softer o-ring might work, but if you go that route you'll always need to keep some around just in case. If you can find exactly what the problem is, you might be able to fix it. If the hatch isn't flat, you...

    Leaking keg

Put one of the other cornie lids on that keg to see if it seals. If so, you know you just need a new lid.

    Alternative regulator exist?

Where did you 'hear' that? Wyeast advises that it's generally not a concern - In addition to that link, here's an older episode of the Basic Brewing podcast that includes a lengthy interview with David Logsdon of Wyeast about the life-cycle of yeast -...

What is a Shandy and why is it called that?

I'm no expert, but I always thought that: Shandy = Ginger Ale + Beer Radler = Carbonated Lemonade + Beer Either one tastes great IMO. I like a wheat beer mixed with Sprite for my own version.

    Need to brew..no running water

I'd thaw it out in a bucket or tub of warm water, drain it, hook it up and use it. Then, when you're done, unhook it and let it drain as you roll it up. Store it inside so it won't be frozen for the next brew day.

    WHERE Have I Been???

I thought it was just about them sharing a central warehouse/shipping center. That makes sense, since they both have similar inventories. But, they both appear to still run their own sites and have separate catalogs. No, that seemed to have ended first. Each of those guys left NB at...

    Brown Feedback

Recipe looks okay. You might be cutting it a bit fine on the time to ferment, condition, and bottle before the holiday though. Good luck.

Is Aerating hot wort actually bad for your beer?

Yes, I should probably have clarified my last response a little further. As homebrewers we certainly don't want to ignore the possibility of HSA and should do everything we can to minimize it. But, ultimately, there are a multitude of other sources of oxidation that can ruin a beer even more...

Is Aerating hot wort actually bad for your beer?

Interesting Brew Strong podcast here that discusses HSA - http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/shows/475 The included interview with Dr Bamforth is pretty convincing in pointing out that there are far more important sources of oxidation that homebrewers should be concerned with than HSA.

    Is this infected?

Why did you think 3 of your last 6 were infected? Are you just being paranoid? Here's a good example of an infection - https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/those-you-worrying-about-infection-what-looks-like-442030/

Avoided this forum for years because of protein...

So, have you noticed better head retention when you don't bring your LME to a full boil? Is that regardless of other recipe factors?
