Michigan Looking for 75/25 Nitro fill, UP/WI

Anybody have a reliable source for 75/25 Nitro mix? Local suppliers around me don't get it in often and I would like a reliable source for it before buying my own tank. The only mix they get up here is the long draw mix(I think its 40%N/60%CO2).

    Delivery Driver Gifts?

Anyone leave any homebrew for your delivery driver(s) around the holidays? From my understanding they are allowed to accept just about anything as a gift(Ive heard they dont have to report any gifts received). Considering leaving a few different flavors that are on tap currently for my driver.

    Commercial Beverage Cooler -> Kegerator?

Has anyone converted one of these to a kegerator? I know I saw a couple full size coolers on here but have not seen any examples of this type. I can fit five pinlocks on the floor and have room for a shelf of bottles on top. Just want to see some examples of them dressed up and where people have...

    Brewery Auction, Charlotte, NC

Looks like some decent equipment might go for cheap if you're in the area! Alot of brewery related stuff but some may be able to be repurposed for brewing @ home. https://www.ironhorseauction.info/auction/brewery-equipment-kitchen-equipment-and-restaurant-furniture-288

    Michigan Keggle false bottom

Came with a mash tun that I bought to use as a HLT. Already use the same exact one(and have a spare) so three seems excessive. Two-piece with stand. Fits keggles for sure, maybe more, measurements in pics. $60 shipped.

    Krausen residue & aging

Is mold a possibility when aging a sour beer in a fermenter with the headspace covered in krausen residue? I bought some PET carboys for a sour project that I started this weekend and thought they were 6.5 gallon but only ended up to be 6 gallons so I ended up with a little over 1/2 gallon of...

    RIS doesnt "taste" carbonated

First time brewing a "big" beer, OG:1.100 & FG:1.024. This was brewed back in October '18. Stayed in primary for a month and a half, kegged middle of December. I put it on gas shooting for about 2 vol (10 psi, 41*F). My problem is that I want to age this in bottles now that it has had time to...

    The Yeast Bay Amalgamation II

Longest lag time ever! Is this normal for Brett blends? I made a simple 1 quart starter with some 1.030 runnings saved from the last brew(about a week ahead of time). I would swirl a couple times a day and by this past weekend it was down to 1.015 on brew day. Brew day went well. Ended up with...

First sour w/ 3278, yeast questions

I am in the final planning stages of brewing a Flanders Red with Wyeast 3278 and have a few questions before getting started. The plan is to end up with 2-5 gallon carboys worth to age together. I am able to brew 5 or 10 gallon batches with my setup but I have read that the character from 3278...

    Basement Bar Upgrade

Starting a thread to keep me focused and get some insights on some of the processes that I have yet to do. We closed on our house this past 4th of July and progress has been slow and steady getting stuffed fixed up and organized. I have found some spare time to get the basement/brewery/bar...

    Dark Wheat Recipe

Looking into brewing a dark wheat over labor day weekend and wanted to get my grains ordered. I want to end up with a jet black malty wheat that isnt to sweet or heavy. The base for this recipe came from a simple wheat beer that used 70/30 Wheat/Munich so thats where those choices came from...
