Hot Rod heat stick with thermostat

Set up with a simple thermostat from aliexpress in an outdoor conduit box and ran the bulb down to the element. Hoping it'll get me close enough on strike and sparge and I'll be able to drop it in bk if necessary. Using 3500w element right now, thermostat says it's good to 32a.

    Valve Brackets & Coupling

May not be exactly in the realm of homebrew but it's close. I bought a keg washer that had several pneumatic valves and for one of them i'm missing everything but the actuator. I didn't think much of it at the time but i'm having a hell of a time finding a bracket and coupler to link up with...

Ferm Chamber w/ BCS 460 and Glycol

Figured i'd share my plans for critiquing while i'm in the process. I saw this guy and figured it'd work all right https://www.pbase.com/jas0420/the_fermoire&page=all Due to space constraints in the garage, needing to move it around easily, never wanting to pick up more than 5 gallons of...

West Virginia Sabco Brew Magic, Two 15.5g Fermenters, and Chill Wizard

In Charleston. Has been brewed with recently and worked fine. 2006 model with Omron E5CS, full stainless stand and cabinet. I use a phone with Beersmith 3 for session. Mostly tri clamp, two false bottoms and three pickup assemblies. Two 15.5g keg fermenters with ball lock top and blowoff...

    Rims Replacement

Would like to replace copper threaded tube and element eventually and upgrade power a bit. Mainly posting to get input so i'll know whether to jump if a deal comes along. Currently element is a 240v 3500 watt running on 120v, so about 900w which is tough for 10 gallon batches, but i am getting...

    Automation for idiots request

Tons of good information and smart people in here but with 0 experience in this type of thing i'm struggling to get my head wrapped around it, although I want to, and it seems like beginner questions come up quite a bit. Several forums have a sticky that gives the highlights for beginners...

    American Pale Ale Vienna Ale

See picture for beersmith page. Recipe largely formulated out of leftovers but realized when I kicked it yesterday that I thoroughly enjoyed it so I thought i'd share. It got better towards the end of the keg but was fine from the get-go.

    Hackjob Window A/C Conversion

I had this borderline junk a/c unit and decided to get the chiller conversion a try. Pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. Figuring out how to easily get the chilled water around my random assortment of fermenters is much more difficult, I may end up with a full size trash can water bath...

    What can I make?

This is what I have. Can I make a brew?

Feedback on local water quality report

Haven't been brewing long but wanted to ask if someone who knows what they're talking about could check out my water report and see if there are any glaring problems. I have a lot to learn so I'm not worried about being perfect (and this water stuff is over my head at the moment) but if there's...

    FastFerment Freezer Mount

In an effort to get my fast ferment climate controlled (and due to having some scrap wood and stuff which seems to provide all my motivation for creativity these days) I rigged up the following mount for the fast ferment above my inkbird controlled freezer. Since I am a severely inexperienced...
