Bottling a quad - add yeast?

I have a quad that is ready to bottle after 2 weeks in primary and 5 weeks in secondary. Not only is this my first quad, it is my first time using T-58 yeast. My question is whether I should add some yeast when bottling. OG was 1.090, FG 1.020, ABV 9.1%.

    2nd try at an amber

Yes, the last batch yielded an even 60 x 355ml bottles, not completely flat, but the head that appeared with a vigorous pour was small, and would disappear withing minutes. The carbonation was very very light. Over about 2 months, they were all about the same, no improvement, but very...

    2nd try at an amber

Ambient is 68f-70f. I tend to think you may be right about the yeast dropping out.

    2nd try at an amber

Also meant to mention - OG was 1.052 and FG 1.012, ABV 5.24% And I also left out the amount of the Hallertau - 2 oz. The beer has a slight sweetness, not very much, as I said I find the flavour nice, just enough hops. It is an easy drinker, just not very carby. I generally like me some IPAs...

bigger bottle take more time to carbonate?

FWIW, I often mix bottle my batches with 750ml swing tops and 355ml capped. It has always seemed to me that the 750ml bottles are better carbed sooner. N=1, YMMV.

    DME vs LME.

LOL. You DO have reading comprehension issues. Nowhere did I do so. I could not care less where or how you spend your money. Mocking is not telling. Yes, I was making fun of you. Apparently shipping of $0.00 is too expensive. Or something like that. When you complain about something and...

    DME vs LME.

    Defalcos: Amber DME, 500g - $7.29 = $1.458/100g 1kg $12.79 = $1.249/100g shipping = $0.00 Beer Grains: Amber DME, 1lb (454g) - $4.29 = $0.945/100g 3lb (1.36kg) $11.99 = $0.881/100g shipping = $0.00 So ~ $3 cheaper by the...

    DME vs LME.

You are obviously in the Ottawa area... DME at Defalcos is way too expensive relative to http://www.beergrains.com/ , and they do free delivery to Ottawa.

Another "What would you call this?" Question

That is kind of what I am thinking as well. Smells good, racked to secondary after 8 days, SG of 1.010, so a solid 5%.

    Star Sanitizer storage

I calculated out 1 oz. (US) => 5 gal (US) gives me 0.71 ml => 16 oz. (Imp) to mix it in my spray bottle. I use a syringe to measure. Then I bought a 32 oz. (Imp) spray bottle, just doubled the dose to 1.4 ml. One of these is perfect for the Vinator. I just mix as I go in small quantities.

Another "What would you call this?" Question

Interesting observation about US-05 and diacetyl

Interesting read that may help: http://www.professorbeer.com/articles/diacetyl.html Perhaps he is packaging too early?

I have SCUBA cylinders. 3500 PSI :) Betcha THAT would push it out!

How would this look for an IPA?

After all of that, it sat in primary for 13 days, racked to secondary and added the Amarillo straight away. Left in secondary for 10 days with the hops and bottled tonight. FG is 1.008, so ABV calcs to 6.03%. It has a nice flavour so far, but I'm not very good at judging a warm uncarbonated...
