    Too much yeast nutrient?

I was just making 1 gallon of apfelwine (cheap apple juice from the store with coopers yeast, a pound of sugar, and the zest from 2 limes), and I thought I'd add a little yeast nutrient to it. I tried to sprinkle about a teaspoon of it straight from the package into the bucket, but a big lump...

    Quick question

I've never brewed any wine before, and I don't want to brew 5gallons on the first try. More like 5 to 10 liters. So, is it possible to use half of the juice in a wine kit, and store the rest for the next batch? Or will it get ruined through oxidation, or other factors?

Priming in a 4liter keg question

How much beer do you drink per day/week?

Just wondering... I'm spending much of my time watching youtube videos, reading new material about brewing, and checking out new equipment and techniques. As you can see, this is a hobby that takes up A LOT of my time, when I'm not writing on my novels, that is. So, this being a hobby...

Carbonating beer in a plastic carboy?

Hi I'm new at brewing and need a helping hand. After primary I rack my brew into a PET carboy (11 liters). My question is, can I carbonate my brew in that carboy, and after a few weeks place it in the fridge? I have a spigot on it. Any tips, pros or cons? Thanks Raymond, Norway :mug:
