I am on a COB in Al Husayniyah for most of the time, however I am at FOB Kalzu right now performing QRF for a week. I am a tanker in the Army, our tanks sit around here at the FOB however. We roll our MRAP's outside the wire for mission/QRF.

Well I fiberglass surfboards for a living. the best solution I can offer without looking at it would be to patch it from the bottom... I assume the surface has some sort of a gel coat like a boat would have. so the bottom is most likely the best place, if all you want to do is seal the crack...

I have never used canned LME, when I did use extracts I always used Bulk so I have never noticed anything. Was it like oily?

Let it sit for a long long time. It will clear on its own. I'm doing a cider right now, when I racked to secondary, I decided it was way to dry for my taste. So my thought it before I keg, I will stabilize it, then back sweeten with spiced cider. (Clove, cinnamon, allspice) I believe you keg...

I think the amount of water you are boiling with your extract will make a bigger impact on caramelization the time in which you add it. When I was doing extracts I still did a 60 minute boil, but would add as much water as I could handle. In order to keep the beer more true to the target color...

I had a beer the president of my home brew club brewed with all Pacific Gem, it was very good. So I don't know what to use with it, but it can stand alone IMO.

Yeah 3 of the 4 hops already broke ground. I am so happy. The Willamette has 15 shoots! How many shoots is everyone cutting back to for first year hops? 2 or 3 ? I am assuming, the less the shoot, the more root growth, and possibly some hop cones?
