I still thing half the point of kegging is so you do not have to add sugar for priming. It's all done by the CO2 gas. So why add the DME or the sugar to the mix? IGOR

I've used a coleman brand cooler, and put the keg on it's side. I do have pinlocks so it is a bit shorter.....Work really well...Once I remembered to put the gas in on the up side.....heheh...whoops.... IGOR

I used twist-offs in the past before I got a large supply of guienuss (spelling) built up and then kegs. Anyway, I brews either two or three batch with twist offs and a bench capper and usually had one or two from each batch that wouldn't seal....Majority were OK!! So IMO ....Twist offs...

Nevermind. After further investigation the kit came with two instruction sets. I just assumed they were copies and never really looked at the second on until now. The first instructions were for BOP/U-Brew, and the second set is for homebrew. I find that wierd and disturbing!!!!

Well...Yes I would agree with that....except it's the Festa Brew Instructions that mention the filtering. I can us my Father-in-laws filter (he makes wine), but I unsure If I really want to do this. It seems like a way to add O2 to the beer.
