    Dave's Carmel Apple Cider

I did 3 cans of concentrate and 11 oz of the Starbucks syrup. Turned out great. 7.5% I left in bottles for one week and then ran through dishwasher on hot cycle for 40 minutes. It did not carbonate in 7 days, but still tasty. Didn't want to risk bottle bombs. Big hit with friends.

Missed OG - Dry Hop Question

I brewed a double ipa recipe and missed the OG by about 10 points (1.060 vs 1.071). Any need to adjust the dry hop additions, or just stick with the recipe? It calls for 3 oz in the secondary for 10 days and then another .75 oz addition for the last five days (Columbus, centennial, and...

    Phoenix Water

I haven't gotten far enough to adjusting water conditions yet. Anyone in Phoenix care to share how they filter and what adjustments they make to the water? I've been using bottled water but curious if the tap water would be better. Thanks

    Coffee Grounds

New at this, and even though I found better ways, I ended up adding coffee grounds to the fermenter for my first stout. I know I should have probably used beans or just added brewed coffee. Its only 5 days in and a lot of the grounds settled to the bottom, but there are quite a bit floating...
