    To secondary, or not?

I started a hard cider a little over two weeks ago. I'm consider putting into secondary to clear it up. I'm wondering now (after reading some forums) if it's even necessary. What would I benefit with doing that? It's done fermenting. Should I just bottle?

    Still fermenting?

Hello all, My husband and I started a cider almost two weeks ago. Our airlock is still bubbling, is that normal? Our porter slowed down after less then a week. I was hoping you all might have some insight on how long fermentation takes on cider. Thanks

    Infection or normal fermintation?

So yesterday we started a batch of hard cider. Got the yeast in and put it in a dark place to ferment. Unlike our porter the yeast hasn't done so much. There is a thick layer or foam/gel on top. And laying on top of the yeast seems to be something white. I thought with an infection it wouldn't...

    Cider Recipes

Hello, I am very new to brewing. My husband and I just brewed our first beer the other day, it's currently in our carboy fermenting. I'd like to start a cider today. Anyone have a fairly easy recipe to get me started? I don't have fresh apples or access to an orchard. So I'll need to buy...
