    Racking onto cherries

Hey y'all. I brewed a sour mashed wheat beer earlier in the summer. I let it sit in primary for a while and then I racked half of it onto canned tart cherries in water and frozen bagged sweet cherries. I'm wondering if I will have introduced wild yeast from the bagged cherries. I'm not sure...

Does typical home day/night temps cause drastic changes in brew temp?

I would think for what you are doing, a swamp cooler would be perfect. Here is another option tho, and something I"m looking at doing in the near future. The Son of a fermentation chiller. http://home.roadrunner.com/~brewbeer/chiller/chiller.PDF

    Rainwater

Well, if that's the case, that means the air that we breathe is loaded with contaminants. Maybe we should all quit breathing? Just make a one or two gallon batch, no harm no foul.

    Rainwater

I think you should do it. If you are using it for brewing, well you will be boiling the water anyways, so no worries of contamination bacteria wise at least. All the other crap? Well, if you drink water from a city, it's probably worse than rainwater IMHO. Go for it!

    Freeze grains
