    Kiwi in the Secondary

Hello! A friend and I brewed a Wheat beer a few weeks, and we thought we would make it a Kiwi Wheat. Our idea is to rack to the secondary, onto 7-8#'s of Kiwi, and place the carboy in the fridge. We don't want the yeast to eat up the sugars, rather take all that kiwi flavor straight out of...

    Wedding beer

this post is exactly why i put this on here, so much that i would've never thought of nor would have found in my research alone. i'll be looking into all of this, and like the thought on using actual pine over the hops. And i definitely will be doing small 1 gallon batches to nail this down.

    Raspberry Wheat

That's a possibility. I ordered the kit from Midwest and had them crush the grains. I'd imagine its probably not perfect. I just don't have the equipment to do it myself yet. I guess there's nothing I can do to change that now, but should I worry about the final outcome of the brew?

    Raspberry Wheat

This is my second all grain brew so I'm still learning. I took a reading upon putting in my primary and came out low. Should have been between 1.042 and 1.046. I was around 1.032. What did I do wrong and should I be concerned? Just took another reading this morning and I'm around 1.028 2 days...
