    Does liquid "leak" through pump?

    I have a Chugger/March style pump I've not yet used (came with other stuff in a used gear buy). Question is, if the valve on inlet side of pump is open will liquid run through the pump even if it's not running (presuming there is some head pressure)?

    Lager yeast in ale recipe - expected difference in result?

    Basically, as the title asks, what difference(s) might one expect in end result if one used a lager yeast for what is billed as an ale recipe? For example, Sierra Nevada pale ale clone fermented with something like OYL-111/WPL833 bock-type yeast.

    Fermenter temperature rise time?

    Let kegs dry after cleaning and sanitizing?

    Oxycleaned, sanitized, and purged a few cornys yesterday. Each one has as much StarSan left in it as remains from typical dip tube withdraw. Not sure how long they may sit in this state with residual StarSan. Should I pull the lids and allow them to fully dry inside for possible long term storage?
