    When dry hopping an extract recipe, do you hold back some of the hops that the recipe calls for and use them for dry hop, add additional, or only do it if the recipe calls for it?

    Tips for pouring malt extract

    Are there any less than obvious tips for getting as much of the malt out as possible? I like the NB kits better than Williams due to the jug, but I find it impossible to get "enough" of the malt out. Today I used max temp tap water to sanitize my fermenter and put the jug in there to warm it...

    Backup keg

    I only have one tap, but brewed two batches on consecutive days. I kegged and tapped the first keg about 2 weeks ago. I just kegged the 2nd one today and put it in the fridge until I'm ready to tap it. I do not add priming sugar. I force carbonate. So what should I do with the 2nd keg? Do...

    Williams Kit contents

    Is there a way to identify which specific hops are in a given Williams kit? I made two batches of American IPA this week. I'm interested in eventually growing my own hops, so it would be nice to know what I'm actually using to compare to later.
