This marks my first partial mash kit, and I am proud to announce much success! Austin Home Brew sells a great kit for those interested.
The instructions say to bottle condition for at least 3 weeks--that's no joke! I tried it at 2 weeks and it was bitter with no head. At week 3 I've got a small off-white brownish head of foam, lightly carbonated and great faint smell of coffee & cocoa.
