Brewing a wet hopped beer seems like a great idea given how much I have enjoyed some of the commercial wet hopped offerings I have tasted.

I have this lingering feeling that given how fragile, time sensitive, and expensive to ship(due to increased speed needed) this may be more of a PITA than its worth. Thoughts....??

I think you are in the one day shipping range. Go for it. It's no more of a PITA than any other beer. But be ready to brew on a moment's notice because once they ship, they are losing some of the freshness.
