Any experience? I'm thinking of using this in my experimental rum. Good way to add an authentic "Oak conditioned" flavour to home brew apparently...

Well, they say you don't need much oak. I'm going to try that myself after these 2 batches are done. I thought a couple ounces of oak cubes would be fine for complimenting the brews flavor profile. You can soak them in whiskey,or maybe some hot water. I was going to try soaking them in,say 3oz's of beam's choice bourbon after pitching yeast on the brew till FG is reached,& the brew cleans up a little. You can do a search on here for more info,as we've had threads on this very topic not too long ago.
