In Beer Smith's water profile - After I set the batch size and figure out the additions I want to make. Are Beer Smith's calculations for the mash? Or the entire batch of water.

Hit Vols... it will take you to water page,it tells me that.
Total water needed - 8.24 Gal
Total mash water- 3.59
Sparge water needed-4.65
And so on ...

Thanks but this is not the info I am looking for... Im talking about the water profile tool where you calculate what elements to add to the water. Calcium chloride, gypsum, etc...

You can change the value in the water additions to match your water volume. If you add all your stuff to the entire amount of water, then split it up, enter the total water volume on the additions page. If you do it one by one, enter the mash volume. Then enter sparge.
