I have this rocker switch and I wanted to use it to switch on a string of rope lights on my keezer. I've searched and can't figure out exactly how to wire it. It's got 3 terminals labeled 1, 2, and 3, the 3 also has a plus and minus on it. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Will this diagram work? It's in DC but I think I could wire it up the same. Put the hot from the wall into pole 2, both negatives into pole 3 and the hot to the lights into pole 1.

The switch is 16A 125VAC, do I need a fuse?
