using water filter after fermentation

hi everyone
first of all , sorry about my poor English
i learned alot from this forum , so thanx alot
today i tried something new and i'm not sure if homebrewers do it
that's why i put my thread in beginners beer brewing forum
i found a water filter that looks like this one





it's about 10 liters in size
and i've been brewing for about a year , and there were off-flavours everytime i do
but after i tried this water filter , the result was AMAZING
i can't believe i could've tasted that , many times ago
like i said , maybe u guys know that for years , but i've never read about it

Do you have details of the filter? Micron pore size?
