Has anyone tried using PEX tubing for their keg lines? It is used in plumbing potable water systems, so I am thinking it should work OK, but before I screw something up, I figured I'd ask.

Also, pex is rather rigid, and that would make a mess to have 12 feet of it all over the kegerator.

While working in the industry I never saw stainless fittings, only brass. I don't like the idea of brass and beer but that's just me. Also I am pretty sure vinyl would be cheaper and easier.

Any reason you want to use pex?

it would be awful hard to bend and probably kink inside of a keezer

I don't always trust the stuff at the hardware store to be capable of not imparting flavors to my beer. I finally found a LHBS that is within a reasonable distance (gotta go to IL), so it isn't a problem.
