Just a quick question for those of you who have used carb tabs in the past. I just bottled my first run of homebrew, and put carb tabs into a sixer just because i'm impatient and want to try it asap. How long should it take to carb up a bottle?

same as priming sugar. about 2 weeks.

I bottle prime what doesn't fit in keg if I run heavy, or want to send to competition or gifts. tabs are a nice easy way to do small volumes in single bottles, but no faster.
Waiting is good. I can't imagine you wanting to drink the beer after being in the bottle for only two weeks (if you want to enjoy it, that is)!
