I have a 2L flask, I expect to decant and the yeast cake will still be at the bottom of that flask.

When I make the new wort, can I pour the wort into the flask ontop of the yeast? I would imagine it doesn't matter.

You mean instead of pouring the yeast into the wort?

Should work fine, assuming of course that the new wort is cooled already.

Yup, of course cooled.

Would I just swirl it around to mix the new wort with the yeast?
