Single infusion mash at 153 deg for 1 hour
90 min boil
1 oz chinook at 90
1.25 oz Chinook at 45
1.5 oz Chinook at 5 min
Added Whirlfloc at last 15 min
after primary I added 2 oz oak chips (boil a pint of water , add oak then microwave for 1 min. Let cool . Add chips and tea to secondary )
I did this recipie becouse I was too cheap to buy the 3 liter bottle. I know I spent more than $60.00 to get to this point but Oh Well. After I did this I found out the Oaked Bastard was in 12 oz this year. I bought some hand had it side by side. Pretty friggin close!!
