    Ball Lock fittings leaking

I'm sorry its no help but I have 11 kegs and I've never had a problem with any of them leaking from the disconnect. I have had leaks from loose flare fittings. The only thing I can recommend it to try some keg lube and fresh o-rings(which you apparently did.)

    Yeast for small batches

Check out the yeast pitching rate calculator on mrmalty.com It will tell you exactly how much yeast to use based on yeast viability(based on date of package), volume, and gravity. Good luck, are these small test batches or do you just want more variety?

Hey Gang, it's "Moot" not "Mute"

What really chaps my ass is when someone (OP) tries to correct people when they are incorrect themselves. Moot does not mean irrelevant, although that is how it tends to be used by most. Moot means debatable or uncertain. A moot point is a point of contention, a subjective one or one that is...

Northern Brewer Grain is not looking so good

Both those malts are husk-less. I assume they have their mill optimized for 2-row barley. In the future you could request that they double mill your wheat and rye. I bet regular base malts look fine.

Better Bottles vs. other PET carboys

I have owned alot of both better bottles and Vintage shop PET carboys. I much prefer the vintage shop ones. The bottoms are much stiffer and the sides don't have ribs that yeast flocks onto. I have had 2 BB that have cracked on the bottom and leaked wort. VS is much stronger and the bottoms...

    Academy turkey fryer

My buddy has the same one for turkeys and crayfish. I inspected it when he bought it and it would work well as a brewing vessel. I would not hesitate to get it at that price.

    APA recipe help

Those all look tasty. It looks like you know what you are doing. My thoughts on each below: #1 You combined the most malt forward Grain bill with the most aggressive American style hop schedule. #2 not too familiar with mild malt; not familiar with Galaxy but summit can be really...
