    My apologies if this has been discussed but I didn't come across it. I found a 5 lb bag of sealed grain, 2.5lbs of pils and 2.5 lbs of wheat. It has probably been in my basement, for two years, fairly cool and relatively airtight. Any idea how long crushed grain lasts?

    Thanks for the info crane. So maybe I will up the amount a little bit, I don't want anything overpowering from the rhubarb but I think it will compliment the tartness of the Berliner quite well. Thanks again!

    So I'm trying my hand at my first Berliner and wanted some input. I think I'm gonna do a 50/50 mix of wheat and pilsner, 3.25 lbs of each. Mash and then sour with lacto for 24 to 72 hours in my keg, purge with C02 to get most of the oxygen out. It's the first one so I'll want to try it each day...

    Yea. Locally there are nices fridges on CL everyday for around 50 so.im.picking up that soon and there is another place that sells cornys fairly cheap. I just need to find the best way to spend the 200 online. So you think just getting the kit will be easiest?

    Colorado and Maine
