    Ohmbrew Automations Fermostat Firmware

Did you ever find the firmware? You probably know by now the company is long gone. It’s a dirty shame. The product had real potential but it was buggy as hell. Mine worked great at first, and the guy was extremely responsive to customer inquires when he first launched the product. The product...

    Bubble Stash clone?

Has anyone tried brewing a clone of Hop Valley’s Bubble Stash? I’ve searched this forum and elsewhere, surprised to not see anything at all.

Anyone have a recipe for Lush?

I would say the honey malt to 2-row is about right at 4lbs honey to 39 lbs 2-row, at least from a flavor perspective. Mine has now been kegged about 10 days. I like it, and it is definitely similar to Lush taste-wise, although I still like Lush better. To me Lush is brighter and cleaner. It...

Anyone have a recipe for Lush?

Thanks. I had it at the brewery when I visited Seattle in April. You are lucky to have it available on draft where you live!

Anyone have a recipe for Lush?

Mine too. I bought mine warm off the shelf, cans from Trader Joe's. (That's the only way I can get here so far.) I kegged mine this weekend. Finished at 1.011. Mine is on the left in the hydrometer cylinder, Lush from the can on the right in the glass. Mine is still a little darker than the...

Anyone have a recipe for Lush?

I dry-hopped on Sunday. Will keg this weekend, expect to taste carbonated beer by 10/4 or 10/5. Will provide full update with side-by-side photos for color comparison.

20 1/4" beer out tubes for ball lock corny kegs

Sorry day trippr, thought I replied to the above, but looks like I didn't post it. I found used 20" dip tubes at Adventures in Homebrewing for 99 cents each! They arrived and appear to be almost new, perfect flanges. Pigroaster, do you still want my used dip tubes? If so PM me your address...

    Parents who brew...

Congrats on your pending arrival! When my kids were born and until they were through the toddler stage, it did make my brew days more infrequent. Fast forward a couple decades, and now I have two enthusiastic brewing assistants, one of whom is now old enough to drink the beer we make. So over...

    Blichmann Thrumometer--high temp alternative?

I might be misunderstanding your question. If you are using the Thrumometer to monitor the temp coming out of the chiller and going into the fermenter, why would that be 140 degrees? I use a Thrumometer on the out side of a Therminator chiller. The temp coming out is usually about 75 degrees...

20 1/4" beer out tubes for ball lock corny kegs

Thanks for the suggestion. They are pretty wrecked, not sure if repairable.

20 1/4" beer out tubes for ball lock corny kegs

The flanges on top are all bent and smashed. So much so they won’t hold a seal, even with a new o-ring.

20 1/4" beer out tubes for ball lock corny kegs

Maybe that’s it. I bought them as ball lock kegs but they may have been pin locks originally. I didn’t know that was standard length for pin locks. Thanks!

20 1/4" beer out tubes for ball lock corny kegs

Does anyone know a source for them? I thought they'd be easy to find, but they're not. I have 5 ball lock corny kegs I bought used from MoreBeer, and they all have beer out tubes that are 20 1/4 inch long. The replacement beer out tubes MoreBeer sells are 23" long. Of course I can just buy...

Beersmith 2 volume off. Where am I going wrong?

BeerSmith 2 is the only real program I have used. For the most part I rely on free spreadsheets like EZ Water Calc.
